Backend Developer

About the role:

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our growing R&D organization.
In this role, you will take part in designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our product. You’ll work closely with experienced developers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be taking on:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams
• Take part in code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering standards
• Contribute to planning, estimations and delivery as part of scrum-based development

Your skill set:

• 2–3 years of experience as a backend developer
• Experience developing scalable backend systems in production environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with SQL
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
• Experience working in Scrum / Agile development environments
• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a startup or rapidly growing company
• Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions
